more news and pics

Sadly, my son in law's mother, Debbie, passed away on July 5th. It was very sudden and quite the shock. She was a wonderful lady and mother. It was truly a hard time for her family and my heart went out to Kaili. He went back to Hawaii for the funeral and here are some pictures of his visit.

Where oh where is my Prince Charming? Prince William? I am here for you!

London Trip

Mary and I went to London this month to hook up with Gary, who was there on business with Delta. Luckily, he didn't have to work much and we were all able to get out and see the town and do all the fun things together. It was Mary's first trip outside of the US (other than our trip to Canada several years ago) and she had a great time. We saw all the things we wanted to and just enjoyed being overseas again. It made me homesick for Europe. Here are some pictures to enjoy from our trip.

New Grandson, Alec Imipono Moylan

Here is our newest grandson, Alec Imipono Moylan, born on July 8th. He is a wonderful baby and so much fun to be around. Caden is a wonderful big brother and we feel so blessed to have two such sweet and gorgeous grandchildren. Being grandparents is the very best!

This has been a hard month for me, as my father passed away on March 10. It was unexpected after having his hip operated on. We were all there for his passing and that was special, but it was very, very hard to do. Each day I feel like I am doing better and feeling more at peace. Everyone around me has been so wonderful and I know that they were sent into my life at just the right moment to help me. All is well. But we were able to have a surprise visit from our dear friends, the Reels, whom we have known since our wonderful years in Spain. It was so fun to see them and catch up and have them here for Caden's 1st Birthday. We have been so blessed to have the friends and family that we do. Thank you to all of you!

Caden didn't want to get dirty with his cake...it was so funny!
